Sunday: Mostly cloudy with on and off rain showers. High: 70. Winds: SE 10-20 mph.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy with a shower or two. Low: 65. Winds: SE-SW 7-15 mph.
Monday: Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and storms late. High: 78. Winds: S-SW 8-16 mph.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy, warm and humid. A slight chance of a shower or storm. High: 84. Winds: SW 6-12 mph.
Forecast Discussion:
We will be dealing with an unsettled weather pattern over the peninsula over the next few days. A weak area of low pressure counties to sit off to our south and west and will be our trigger of showers and a couple storms tonight heading into Sunday. This system falls apart Sunday night into early Monday, but the humidity and daytime heating will do enough to spark some scattered showers and storms heading into the workweek. Temperatures will be held down with the extensive cloud cover on Sunday and part of Monday. By Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will be feeling more like summertime around here…flirting with 90 degrees.
