Snow showers will continue through the early evening with accumulations perhaps reaching an inch in Accomack County. Skies will clear later tonight as cold dry Arctic air deepens over the region. Lows will dip into the upper teens by sunrise. Skies will clear Wednesday night with sunshine Thursday. It will stay breezy and cold all day Thursday with highs only in the mid to upper 30's. Thursday night will be cold with a low in the low 20's and winds will be light. Milder air will arrive Friday with highs back into the mid 40's and it will be sunny.Saturday and Sunday look very nice with highs warming well into the 50's. The weekend should be mainly sunny as well with light winds. Monday looks mild but showers are likely with a cold front late in the day and into early Tuesday. Tuesday will be mild but it will turn cooler by Wednesday. Our Climate averages for mid January are a low of 26 and a high of 43.
