REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office say a 30-year-old man has been arrested for starting a fire at a mobile home that killed five animals in Rehoboth Beach.

Gregory Miles, 30, of Delmar, Del. was arrested on Thursday and charged with arson, burglary, theft and six counts of cruelty to animals. Miles is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $19,500 secured bond.

According to investigators, the mobile home fire happened on Tuesday, May 12, at 11:40 a.m. in the Camelot Mobile Home Park on the 19000 block of Princess Street.

Fire officials say the residents were not at home at the time of the incident and five animals in the home did not escape the fire.

Damages were estimated at $25,000.
