Greensboro Woman Jailed for Assault

DENTON, Md.- Denton police on Monday night arrested a Greensboro woman accused of assaulting her former boyfriend and trying to stab him with a knife.

Police say that at around 10 p.m., 26-year-old Megan Jones, who is also the mother of the victim's child, went to the victim's Denton home to retrieve some belongings.

According to the victim, when Jones arrived she attempted to stab him with a knife. The victim further stated that Jones had struck him in the face.

Jones was arrested for first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment and was ordered held on $10,000 bail.
