HURLOCK, Md.- Authorities are searching for the cause of an early Sunday morning fire that caused thousands of dollars to a Hurlock home.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says the blaze occurred at 5:23 a.m. at a vacant one-story single family home on 333 Pine St.
It took 30 firefighters from the Hurlock, East New Market and Secretary volunteer fire companies about half an hour to get the fire under control.
The fire caused an estimated $30,000 in damage to the structure. There were no injuries.
Investigators determined the fire started in a living room. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Anyone with information regarding this fire is asked to call the State
