(Photo: CBS)WILMINGTON, Del. (WBOC/AP)- Delaware homeowners facing foreclosure can get help at two workshops this week.
The state Attorney General's office is holding two forums for homeowners worried about missing a mortgage payment or the possibility of foreclosure or a foreclosure scam.
The office's Mortgage Fraud Task Force will provide information and assistance to homeowners facing tough financial circumstances.
The first workshop will be held Monday night at 6 p.m. at 110 South Bedford Street in Georgetown. On Thursday evening, counselors and advisers will be at the YWCA at 153 East Chestnut Hill Road in Newark.
Interested homeowners are required to RSVP for these events by calling NCALL at (302) 678-9400 or the YWCA at (302) 224-4060, ext. 200. A complete list of Delaware housing events is available online at www.deforeclosurehelp.org.
