CAMDEN, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian.  

Authorities said the crash occurred just after 11 p.m. on Thursday when Corey Dickson, 40, of Magnolia, DE was walking on the northbound shoulder of US 13. Police said he walked into the northbound lane and was struck by a 2008 Toyota which was also northbound in the right lane. Police said Dickson was wearing dark clothing and the roadway was not lit at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Toyota was identified as Chelsea A. Wooter, 20, of Harrington.  

The 40 year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.
