RISING SUN, Md. (AP)- Maryland State Police say a 7-year-old Cecil County boy was killed when his father accidentally backed over him with a pickup truck.
The boy was hit just before noon Monday in a field near Rising Sun-area home.
Police say the boy was hidden from view behind the Ford F250 pickup truck as 32-year-old
Arthur Meulenberg backed up.
The boy was taken to Union Hospital in Elkton where police say he was pronounced dead.
Police declined to release the boy's name because he was a minor.
