Police Shut Down Suspected Pot Growers

ST. MICHAELS, Md - Three Talbot County residents face charges of possessing and manufacturing marijuana.

On August 12, the Talbot County Sheriff's Office and Narcotics Task Force searched a residence on Riverside Terrace in St. Michaels.

Authorities say they found a closet converted into a marijuana "grow room" with a mounted fan, electric timers, Halide lights, misting bottles and a ceramic heater.  Police also say they found a microwave oven used to dry marijuana, a shot gun and 3.5 grams of loose marijuana. 

Heather Clark was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Additional charges are pending.

On August 19, the Talbot County Narcotics Task Force responded to Bruceville Road in Trappe.  Authorities say they found marijuana growing on the property along with with 12 guns.

Harley Sard is charged with manufacturing and possession of marijuana.

On August 31, Talbot police say they found 20 marijuana plants ranging from 8 feet to 12 feet growing on a property on Connelly Road in Cordova. Police say each plant was capable of producing at least one pound of marijuana. 

Robert Leroy Greenwood, Jr. is charged with manufacturing, possession and intent to distribute marijuana.
