WOOLFORD, Md.- Authorities say several marijuana plants were confiscated during a raid of a home in southern Dorchester County.

Members of the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force on Wednesday, Sept. 9 raided a home on Taylors Island Road in Woolford. Police say the target of the case, Steve Dissinger, was home at the time of the entry.

Investigators say the search revealed 14 marijuana plants ranging in height from 8-inches to 4-feet in height; indoor growing equipment consisting of two grow lights and a homemade plant incubation chamber; six plants hanging out to dry in a closet; nine stems with buds hanging to dry; 1 pound and 2 ounces of loose marijuana; digital scales; a computer tower and other paraphernalia. Police say charges against Dissinger are pending due to a medical condition.

The Dorchester Task Force was assisted by the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, Maryland State Police and the Worcester County Narcotics Task Force.
