DELMAR, Del.- Authorities are looking for a suspect wanted for robbing the Wilmington Trust bank on Sussex Highway in Delmar, Del.
Police say the robbery occurred Thursday afternoon. The suspect, who got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, is described as a white male in his late 20s, sunken eyes, between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-8 and weighing between 140 and 160 pounds. He wore a gray wool cap, dark-colored scarf, a blue hoody and an olive green shirt. It is uncertain if the suspect was armed with a gun.

This was the third robbery that occurred Thursday in the Delmar-Salisbury area. On Thursday morning at around 11:48 a.m., a lone male suspect armed with a firearm entered the Shore Bank on 1503 South Salisbury Blvd. Police say the suspect vaulted over the teller counter. The suspect ordered an employee to put cash into a bag that he was holding. The suspect then jumped back over the counter before running out of the bank. The suspect was observed running from the bank in a northerly direction. There were no injuries.
The suspect was described as a black male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, thin, wearing a black "hoodie" type sweat jacket, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, and with a light colored bandanna covering his facial area. Police say the firearm appears to be a shortened shotgun type of weapon.
The earlier robbery occurred at approximately 10:41 a.m. at the BB & T Bank on Riverside Drive. Officers learned that two suspects walked into the bank and approached the teller area. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money from the teller. Both suspects fled the the bank and ran south behind an apartment complex. A witness stated that the suspects drove away from the area in a car, described as a dark blue older model Honda Accord with dark, tinted windows. The car may possibly be early an 1990s model. There were no injuries.
The first suspect in this robbery was described as a black male, 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, wearing all black with a camouflage mask and in possession of a black large frame handgun. The other suspect was described as a black male, 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, wearing all black with a black
face mask. He was also in possession of a dark handgun.
