SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities are looking for three suspects wanted for assaulting a man and stealing his cell phone as he walked down a city street on Monday afternoon.

Salisbury police say that shortly after 2 p.m., the victim was walking on Spring Avenue and talking on his cell phone when three suspects approached him. Police say the suspects struck the victim- knocking him to the ground- and then took his cell phone. The suspects then ran away. The victim was not injured and did not require medical attention, according to police.

Investigators say all three suspects were described as black males, 6-foot-tall and of medium build. Two of the suspects were further described as wearing white shirts and dark pants. The third suspect was described as wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.
