Hurlock Elects a New Mayor

HURLOCK, Md.- Incumbent Don Bradley lost his mayoral seat by 99 votes in Saturday's municipal election in Hurlock.

Voters elected Joyce Spratt to be the town's next mayor.  Spratt received 332 votes to Bradley's 233 votes.

Three Town Council seats were also up for grabs.  Michael Henry was elected in District 1.  The District 2 seat was won by Michael Nordstrom and Christopher Adams won the at-large seat.

Election officials say voter turnout was high.
