SNOW HILL, Md.- The Worcester County Health Department has received a small number of doses of the seasonal flu vaccine and will offer a seasonal flu vaccination clinic to Worcester County residents who are most at risk on Friday, Nov. 13 in Snow Hill.
Those at highest risk for complications of the seasonal flu virus are persons who are 65 years and older or under 2-years-old. Worcester County residents in this highest risk group can receive the seasonal flu vaccination by making an appointment for the clinic scheduled from 9 a.m. until noon at the Charles and Martha Fulton Senior Center, 4767 Snow Hill Road, in Snow Hill.
The fee for injectable influenza vaccine is $15. The health department says no one will be denied service due to inability to pay. Medicare and Social Security cards must be presented for Medicare to be billed.
No H1N1 vaccinations will be given at this clinic but you may call the Public Health Information Line at (410) 632-4321 for more information about the H1N1 flu clinics in Worcester County.
