HEBRON, Md.- Police with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office say a 47-year-old man was arrested Monday night in connection with an assault alleged to have occurred in his Hebron home.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says that at around 7:22 p.m., a deputy responded to a home on the 500 block of South Main Street for a reported altercation that occurred there. Police say that upon arrival, the deputy met with a female victim who stated that she had been assaulted by Todd  G. Dudek, who lives with the victim.

During the investigation, the deputy observed signs of injury that corroborated the victim’s account, according to police.

Dudek was taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault. He was later released on personal recognizance.
