BALTIMORE- Maryland health officials say six more deaths associated with H1N1 flu have been reported in the state.
The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said Thursday the six deaths have occurred in the past four weeks.
The deaths are three from the Baltimore area, two from western Maryland and one from southern Maryland. All involve adults with underlying health conditions. No additional details about the victims were provided.
The deaths bring the state's total to 19.
Since May 1, the DHMH has reported 664 hospitalizations due to H1N1 flu-related illness to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevetion.
