MILFORD, Del.- Milford police say a drug raid on an 18-year-old man's home led to the seizure of about 13 pounds of marijuana.

On Monday, Nov. 16, the Milford Police Drugs and Narcotics Unit, along with the assistance of other state, local and federal agencies, executed a search warrant at a home on the 800 block of SE 2nd Street.

Along with the marijuana seizure, police also arrested Gerardo Torres of Milford. According to investigators, Torres had an infant child in the home at the time of his arrest. Police say Torres also tried to provide officers with a false name before his identity was discovered.

Torres was charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession with the intent to deliver a nonnarcotic Schedule I controlled substance, second-degree forgery, maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances, criminal impersonation, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child in the home where a drug offense has occurred.

He is being held in Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $28,000 cash bail.
