STEVENSVILLE, Md.- Two-way operations have been suspended on the westbound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge due to inclement weather, the Maryland Transportation Authority said Thursday.
Currently, only two lanes are operating in the eastbound direction. Eastbound motorists may experience rush hour delays.
The MDTA said it would open one lane of the westbound span of the bridge to eastbound traffic, if weather conditions improve and traffic condictions warrant it.
For 24/7 traffic conditions at the bridge call 1-877-BAYSPAN.
