Armed Robbery Probed in Selbyville

SELBYVILLE, Del.- Authorities are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the lobby of Mountaire Farms on Hosier Street in Selbyville.
 
Selbyville police say that on Friday at around 3:30 p.m., a male suspect and a female suspect, entered the business. Police say the female suspect confronted two women, employed by a private company, who were cashing payroll checks in the lobby. The female suspect demanded money, then reached across the table and picked up a money box, containing an undetermined amount of cash.

Police say the male suspect stood by the front entrance and displayed a small revolver. The subjects fled the business and entered what is believed to be a small silver or gray SUV.

No one was injured during the incident.

The male suspect was described as black, heavy set and approximately 6-foot-tall. He was wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie and had on a black Adidas backpack.

The female suspect was described as black, approximately 5-foot-6, heavy build, wearing black pants, and a black "puffy" jacket.
