DOVER, Del. (AP/WBOC)- A grand jury returned an indictment Monday charging a pediatrician already facing more than 470 counts of child sex abuse with even more crimes involving his young patients.

The Sussex County grand jury indicted Dr. Earl Bradley of Lewes on more than 58 new counts alleging sexual abuse of 24 additional children.

Bradley, 56, pleaded not guilty last month to charges outlined in a 471-count indictment accusing him of sexually abusing 103 other children.

The crimes in that indictment were based on videotapes seized by investigators. Monday's indictment was based on interviews with parents of other patients.

Bradley is being held with bail set at $4.7 million on charges including rape, sexual exploitation of a child, unlawful sexual contact and continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Images of Bradley's alleged assaults were captured by cameras he set up in various rooms at his Lewes practice, which he decorated with Disney characters and stockpiled with toys and miniature carnival rides.

Prosecutors said some of Bradley's victims were assaulted after he separated them from their parents during office visits. Others had unnecessary "exams" caught on videotape in the presence of unsuspecting parents.

Following years of suspicions among parents and questions about his behavior from colleagues, Bradley was arrested in December after a 2-year-old girl told her mother that the doctor hurt her when he took her to a basement room after an exam.

Delaware officials have permanently revoked his medical license.

A status conference in the case is scheduled for May 17.
