FEDERALSBURG, Md.- Inmates are helping those who are less fortunate by building Habitat for Humanity homes.
Inmates have been working with Habitat for Humanity in Caroline County to build several homes in Federalsburg. The inmates have done everything from sheet rocking, roofing, landscaping, flooring and working on foundations.
The inmates working on the homes are in a pre-release program.
Today a dedication ceremony was held for one family, who moved into their house in May. Two others homes are in the process of being built and ground was broken today on another.
