Police: Drunk Man in Diaper Arrested in West O.C.

WEST OCEAN CITY, Md.- Maryland State Police say a 47-year-old Florida man wanted in on some Halloween fun, but it was the way he went about it that got him into trouble.

Police say that at around 9:16 p.m. Sunday, Joseph David DiVanna of Sarasota dressed up in a diaper and tried to get trick-or-treat candy from homes located on Queen Circle in the Fox Chapel neighborhood.

Troopers say the problem was that DiVanna was drunk and shouting profanities at children. He was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. He was locked up in the Worcester County Detention Center in lieu of $2,500 bond.
