Sea Gulls Hold Steady at No. 3 in USILA Top 20 Coaches' Poll


BALTIMORE– The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released its weekly Top 20 coaches' poll on Monday and Salisbury University held steady at No. 3 for the second straight week. The Sea Gulls (5-0) collected 256 total points in this week's poll.

2010 national champion Tufts University (0-0) keeps a tight grasp on the No. 1 ranking, as the Jumbos garnered 11 first-place votes and 275 total points. Capital Athletic Conference foe Stevenson University (5-0) received three first-place votes and 261 total points. Cortland State (2-0) and Roanoke College (3-0) acquired round out the top five with 245 and 222 points, respectively.

Salisbury is scheduled to square off with Ohio Wesleyan University this Saturday at 1 p.m., at Sea Gull Stadium. The Sea Gulls own a 26-6 all-time record against the Battling Bishops.
