MSP Using Night Goggles to Catch Seatbelt Violators

ANNAPOLIS- Maryland drivers beware- the police are using military technology to watch you. 

The Maryland State Police are using night vision goggles to catch seatbelt violators. Officials say 40 percent of drivers do not use their seat belts at night. 

They say the goggles allow troopers to see inside the cars from a distance, making it easier to ticket violators. 

The state police is just one of 13,000 agencies nationwide now using the goggles.
