DOVER, Del. - Police charged a man and woman for multiple counts of forgery and identity theft in Dover on Thursday.

Dover Police arrested Sabrina Walls, 27, and Otis Pendleton Jr., 26, both of Dover in connection with multiple counts of forgery, identity theft, conspiracy, criminal impersonation and obtaining controlled substances by forgery.

Police say the arrests come after a lengthy investigation which identified Walls and Pendleton Jr. as having used stolen prescription pads from a local physician to obtain controlled substances from various Rite Aid and Walgreen Pharmacies.

According to investigators, the controlled substances obtain included Percocet, Tussionex, Xanax and Endocet. Both subjects were arrested and released on unsecured bond pending a preliminary hearing in the Court of Common Pleas.
