DOVER, Del.- A 35-year-old Dover woman is facing 44 charges after being arrested for the continuous sexual abuse of two young children.

Dover police say Rebecca A. Harris was arrested Tuesday after the two children, ages 9 and 7, disclosed the alleged abuse. Working in conjunction with the Division of Family Services, Dover police detectives were able to obtain information which led Harris' arrest.

Harris was charged with 30 counts of second-degree rape, 10 counts of first-degree unlawful sexual contact, two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.  

Harris was locked up in the Baylor Women's Correctional Institution in default of $323,000 secured bond.
