Saturday: Morning sun then cloudy by early afternoon. Cool with spotty brief showers about. High: 44-46° Winds: W 5-12 mph.
Saturday Night: Clearing, and cold. Low 29-32°. Wind: NW 2-9 mph.
Sunday: Mainly sunny, and cool. High: 51-53° Winds: NW 4-10 mph.
A chilly and rather blustery weather pattern will continue into the weekend as a strong upper-level trough remains entrenched over the NE U.S. Skies will be mostly clear overnight and a freeze is likely away from the water. Saturday looks chilly and breezy as well, with clouds returning and even a few sprinkles, as a weak low-pressure system passes to our south. Most spots will see little or no rainfall. Look for highs only in the mid 40's, with a west wind under 13 mph. It will warm up to near 50 Sunday with sunshine, and it will still be a little on the breezy side but not as windy as it has been.Clouds will return Monday highs near 50 as a new storm system approaches. Rain and some wind will return Tuesday as a low-pressure system passes nearby. Skies will stay rather cloudy, with highs in the 40's Wednesday and Thursday as a new upper-level trough develops over the region. this trough will keep below normal temps. over the entire region into at least Friday.
