It was a sunny, but cool Saturday on Delmarva as an area of high pressure has taken control of the weather over the eastern U.S. This area of high pressure will stay in control through Monday evening before being pushed out of the way by an area of low pressure. Temperatures Sunday and Monday will be in the 60s with generally light winds through Monday morning. Our winds will begin to pick up Monday afternoon as the high pressure is pushed out of our area by the area of low pressure that will bring wet weather to the region Tuesday and Wednesday. By Wednesday afternoon, things will begin to dry out as we warm into the upper 60s to low 70s. Late week looks to be dry with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 60s both Thursday and Friday. There is a chance of a few showers Friday evening.Looking ahead to next weekend, partly cloudy skies will dominate with temperatures continuing to be in the mid to upper 60s. A shower cannot be ruled out next Saturday.
