We're Looking for GREAT Delmarva Photos

You, the viewers of WBOC.com, are our eyes on Delmarva – and we're looking for photos from you to that capture what you've seen.

Our new Photo of the Day feature depicts life on Delmarva – community events and news, weather photos, wildlife photos, family activities, or scenes that capture the unique essence of the region. In order to do that, we need YOU, the residents of Delmarva, to send us your photos. We'll post the best of them on our home page in our new Photo of the Day slide show, where your friends and neighbors can view your handiwork. 

Here's how:

  1. You can upload your image to our Facebook page if you're a Friend of WBOC. Just attach your image to a comment on our Facebook page.
  2. Or you can e-mail us your image as an attachment to an e-mail message. Please use this address: media@wboc.com 

If you submit your photo please include information about the photo: 

  • Who or What is in the photo taken? What are they doing?
  • When was the photo taken?
  • Where was it taken?

And of course, we'll need information about who took the photo. (And please: Only submit photos that were taken personally by you or a family member. Please include an e-mail address or phone number in case we need to contact you for more information.

    Gov. Martin O'Malley has said he may issue an executive order creating a pilot program for reforms to criminal bail procedures. It would be the next chapter in Maryland's efforts to comply with a Court of Appeals ruling that defendants have a right to legal counsel at every bail hearing.     DOVER, Del.- If you drove down Route 8 in Dover this week you might have noticed something different. A new traffic light. DelDOT put the new traffic light up to help with traffic and safety. “We were approached by the city of Dover and Capital School District,” said Sandy Roumillat the Chief of Community Relations at DelDOT. “They were looking at the recirculation plan getting buses in and out of the campus of the elementary school.” The intersection is right next to Booker T Washington Ele...More
