DOVER (AP)- A newly released report says a state legislative researcher resigned in April after an anonymous tip alleged he was viewing pornography on his state computer.
According to the report from state auditor Tom Wagner, the tip was made in February to the auditor's hotline. Researcher Alexander Mull resigned in April. A log of Mull's Web browsing activity for a three-week period in December found visits to more than 43-hundred explicit Web pages. State Web filters block access to pornographic sites, but the investigation showed that Mull was able to access them through his Yahoo account. Mull faced an administrative charge of violating the state's acceptable-use policy for Internet use, a charge whose penalties can include dismissal. His formal resignation was received April 13.
