Katherine J. Miller, O.D. is a graduate of Ferris State University where she obtained her B.A. in Vision Science. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2008. Her clinical experience includes patient care at an inner city Community Health Center, John Dingle VA Hospital in Detroit and an extended medical mission to Honduras where her team provided much needed eye care for 2100 people. Since joining Chesapeake Eye Center she has developed a talent for advanced contact lens fitting, focusing on keratoconus, post-surgical lenses and multifocal contact lenses. She passionately believes that healthy eyes are a result of a healthy body and mind.
Dr. Miller and her husband Tim were married in 2011 and currently live in southern Delaware. They enjoy any outdoor activity but especially love being on or around the water. On any given weekend you can find them on the beaches of the Delaware State Park, hiking, kayaking or running.
