Here's a tip for enjoying tofu: boiling it in water for 10 minutes before using it will help to prevent bloating and gas in a cold tofu dish!
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 block (16 oz.) tofu, firm
2 cups celery, chopped
1 spring onion, chopped finely
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1 T sesame oil
1 T soy sauce
Put tofu in a pan, cover with fresh water and boil for 10 minutes. Drain and remove some of the water by pressing down on the tofu. Put the chopped celery, spring onion and cilantro in a bowl. Put the warm tofu on top and break apart with a spoon. Add the sesame oil and soy sauce, then mix.
