Camden Man Arrested for Stealing Copper From Farmers

DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested a Camden man accused of stealing copper from four farms in Kent County.

Thirty-one-year-old Christopher L. Taylor of Willow Grove Road was charged Monday with eight counts of theft under $1,500, three counts of theft greater than $1,500, four counts of criminal trespass and six counts of criminal mischief.

Investigators say that between August and October, Taylor stole copper from irrigation equipment from farms in Magnolia, Felton and Camden.

Police say that Taylor also was arrested in June for stealing copper from irrigation equipment in April.

Taylor is being held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of a $9,250 secured bond.
