Chihuahua, $37,000 in Jewelry Stolen


NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP)- New Castle County police say a Chihuahua and $37,000 worth of jewelry have been stolen from a Red Lion home.

The theft was reported Monday about 3:15 p.m. in the first block of Emerald Ridge Drive. The owner's 18-year-old daughter returned home and found the residence had been burglarized.

The family's minivan was also stolen.

The missing dog is 4-years-old and named Little Bit.
