WBOC.com welcomes letters to the editor. Letters should be 150 words or less and not have been previously appeared in any other media. For verification purposes, letters should include the writer's full name, mailing address, e-mail address, and daytime and/or cell phone numbers. Letters will be published with the author's name and town/city. Anonymous letters will not be considered. All letters are subject to editing for length, style, accuracy, relevance and taste. Letter writers may be consulted on editing to the extent that time permits.
Because timeliness is a critical factor in the selection of letters, readers are strongly encouraged to submit their letters by e-mail to wboc@wboc.com. Please include the words "Letter to the Editor" in the e-mail subject line. Writers who are unable to use e-mail can send surface mail to the following address:
