BALTIMORE (AP)- The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore is investigating an accusation of sexual abuse at a church dating from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The archdiocese says in a statement that a woman says she was abused over a two-year period as a parishioner at Saints Philip and James Catholic Church in Charles Village.
The woman says the abuse started in the late 1960s.
The archdiocese has revoked Father John Lippold's ability to act as a priest while an investigation into the allegations continues. Lippold was an associate pastor at the time.
Lippold has denied the accusations.
