CREATIVE SERVICES PRODUCER
Job Summary: This position produces paid and promotional spots including client commercials, station image, topical, event and public service announcements.
Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other computer editing software as well as audio and video equipment used in the production of commercials and promo/PSAs. Must possess strong and creative writing skills. Knowledge of OSI and ENPS preferred. Working knowledge of sound and music editing, principles of photography (lighting, framing, exposure) and various cameras and format miniDV, DVC Pro, JVC HD, digital still photography) and audio production (wireless mics, levels, voice over recording). Strong organization and attention to detail as well as the ability to make quick decisions and solve problems effectively and efficiently. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually with little supervision and instruction.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be able to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly using the English language.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while meeting deadlines.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in communications, mass media, TV production, broadcasting, marketing, journalism or related field required. One to three years experience in similar or related field.
Physical Demands, Work Conditions and Environment:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Location of job requires some work completed in a usual office environment, as well as on location for shoots, and driving a vehicle.
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather elements.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle on a regular basis.
- Must be able to concentrate mind and eyes closely on work for sustained periods.
- Position requires the person to speak frequently to small and large groups.
- Must be able to climb ladders, crawl, squat, push and pull.
