4 Worcester Businesses Busted for Selling Alcohol to Minors

SALISBURY, Md.- The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says four businesses are in trouble after they failed an alcohol compliance check Monday. 

According to police, these checks are to locate establishments that have liquor licenses in the county, to make sure they are not selling alcoholic beverages to minors. Police say the following establishments were found to be in violation by furnishing alcohol to a minor.

  • Taylor's Neighborhood Bar and Grill on Nicholas Lane in Berlin;
  • Pizza Hut on Nicholas Lane in Berlin
  • Marina Deck in Berlin;
  • Steer Inn Tavern on Racetrack Road in Berlin

The following establishments did not serve a minor an alcoholic beverage, according to police: 

Snow Hill Area

  • Super Soda Center;
  • Duck Inn;
  • Liquor Control Board

Newark Area

  • Newark Station 

Berlin Area

  • Your Store; 
  • Shop Kwik;
  • Liquor Control Board;
  • Cheers;
  • Friendship Food Mart;
  • Raceway Citgo;
  • Barley Hops and Grapes;
  • Southside Beer and Wine;
  • Ritas World of Wine;
  • Whiskers Bar and Grilll;
  • Noble Grape;
  • 7-Eleven in Ocean Pines
