DOVER, DE --- The Wesley College football program will host a breakfast for all members of the 1991 ECAC Championship team and their families at Homecoming on Saturday, October 8, 2011.
On November 23, 1991, the Wolverines defeated regional power Ramapo College 35-21 in a major upset in small college football that season. The victory gave Wesley a 9-2 record for the season and helped lay the foundation for Wolverine football's winning tradition. Since becoming a member of NCAA Division III, Wesley has posted record of 172-84-1 (.657).
The breakfast will be held in College Center in the The Den at 9 a.m. Head Coach Mike Drass, Associate Head Coach Chip Knapp and Wesley's 2011 team captains will greet the '91 team and their families at 9:30 a.m.
The team will be acknowledged at halfime of the Homecoming Game vs. Frostburg State slated for a 1 p.m. kickoff. To register for the breakfast email Coach Drass at drassmi@wesley.edu. The breakfast is free of charge.
