STOCKTON, Md. - A
Virginia man has been taken into custody, facing a slew of charges including second-degree
rape, third-degree sex offense, second-degree assault, second-degree child
abuse and incest.
Alvin Fuller, 55,
was arrested without incident by the Accomack County Sheriff's Office on Train
Station Road in Stockton, closing a joint investigation involving the Worcester
County Bureau of Investigation and the Worcester County Child Advocacy Center.
Those aforementioned charges stem from Fuller's alleged repeated
conduct with a relative's 14-year-old daughter over the course of just under a
year.
Police say Fuller befriended the victim over a lengthy
period of time, discovering how to manipulate and prey on the child.
Fuller is currently being held without bond
pending a future extradition hearing.
