DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested three suspects in connection with a series of home invasions that occurred last fall in western Kent County.
Lamott E. Stevenson, 28, of New Castle; Adriene Stevenson, 24, of New Castle; and Johnmika Daniels, 26, of Elkton, Md., are each charged with five counts of first-degree robbery, three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, three counts of wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, three counts of second-degree conspiracy, and three counts of criminal mischief.
Police said the arrests stemmed from the following three home invasions:
- Whitehall Neck Road, Smyrna, Oct. 10, 2011
- Pearsons Corner Road, Dover, Oct. 19, 2011
- Judith Road, Hartly, Nov. 7, 2011
Troopers said that in all of the incidents, the suspects entered the homes and confronted the homeowners at gunpoint. The suspects demanded cash and other personal belongings from the victims before fleeing, investigators said.
Police said an investigation linked the suspects to the home invasions as well as a robbery that was committed in the limits of Dover. All three suspects were captured in Elkton, where they were held as fugitives on the robbery charge out of the Dover Police Department until they were extradited to Delaware on Friday afternoon.
All three suspects were charged with the aforementioned crimes and arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court #2. Lamott and Adriene Stevenson were both ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $424,000 secured bail. Daniels was ordered held in the Women's Correctional Institution on $424,000 secured bail.
