DOVER, Del. – Wesley College sophomore sprinter Matt Bundy has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Track & Field Athlete of the Week, it was announced Tuesday morning.
A native of Media, Pa., Bundy won the 200m dash at the Delaware Thomson Invitational last weekend in a CAC-best time of 22.82. Bundy also finished second in the 60m, crossing the finish line in 7.15. Both of his efforts would have also captured gold in the Division I races.
The Wolverines return to the track on Feb. 11 when they travel to Princess Anne, Md., for the UMES Collegiate Invitational.
The meet at Maryland-Eastern Shore is the final tune-up before the CAC Indoor Championships held at George Mason University on Feb. 19.
