Doublewide Left in Ruins After Fire

BOWERS BEACH, Del.- Authorities are investigating an early Tuesday fire that destroyed a home in Little Heaven, located west of Bowers Beach.

According to an official with the Bowers Beach Fire Company, shortly after 3 a.m. firefighters from three Bowers Beach, Magnolia and Frederica responded to a trailer on fire on the 100 block of Holly Drive in the High Point Mobile Home Park.

When firefighters arrived the scene, they found a doublewide trailer with flames shooting through the roof.

Firefighters got the blaze under control with units remaining on the scene for one hour and 45 minutes.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
