DOVER, Del. –
For the third consecutive season, the DSU Sports Radio Network will
pick up three Delaware State University women's basketball contests via 1290 The Ticket and 1410 WDOV.
The broadcast schedule will begin this weekend with Saturday's 5 p.m. contest between the Lady Hornets and Norfolk State University at Memorial Hall.
Scott
Klatzkin, the Voice of Delaware State Hornets Radio, will provide
play-by-play of the games and will be joined by various DSU head coaches
and former student-athletes during the three broadcasts.
For Saturday's game against Norfolk State, Klatzkin will be joined by the following guests:
- Ricki Ellison – DSU head bowling coach
- Jillian Lontz – DSU head lacrosse coach
- Jeff Savage – DSU head softball coach
- Candy Young – DSU Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator
In addition to tuning in to 1290 The Ticket and 1410 WDOV on the radio dial, fans can listen online at www.1290theticket.com.
The two other broadcasts this season will come on Saturday, February 25 vs. Howard and Thursday, March 1 vs. South Carolina State.
The
Lady Hornets are currently 4-16 on the year and 1-6 in the Mid-Eastern
Athletic Conference. Norfolk State is 8-12 and 3-6 in conference play.
Delaware State is currently riding an 11-game win streak over the
Spartans.
