Mailbox Set on Fire in Willards

WILLARDS, Md.– The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is trying to determine who set fire to the mailbox of a Willards woman.

Authorities said the interior of a metal mailbox was set on fire at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday at a home on the 8000 block of Burnt Mill Road.

As of now, officials have not identified any suspects in this case.

Investigators urge anyone with additional information about this crime to contact the Salisbury Office of the State Fire Marshal at (410) 713-3780 or the Arson Hotline at 1-800-492-7529 where any information can be left anonymously.
