11 Worcester Businesses Cited for Selling Alcohol to Minors

SNOW HILL, Md.- Authorities say 11 Worcester County businesses were cited after they recently sold alcohol to minors during an alcohol compliance check.

According to the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, the following businesses sold alcohol to minors during three separate compliance checks:

Jan. 24:

  • Super Soda Center, 5318 Snow Hill Rd., Snow Hill, Md.
  • Steer Inn, 10514 Racetrack Rd., Berlin, Md.
  • 7-11, 9404 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Md.
  • Royal Farms, 8307 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Md.

Jan. 31:

  • Bucks, Assateague Rd., Berlin, Md.
  • Smiths Market, Worcester Highway, Showell, Md
  • Pizza Tugos, Stephen Decatur Highway, West Ocean City, Md.
  • Outback, Ocean Gateway, West Ocean City, Md.

Feb. 2:

  • Ruby Tuesday, 145 Newtowne Blvd., Pocomoke, Md.
  • Plaza Tapatia, 1621 Ocean Gateway, West Ocean City, Md.
  • Pizza Tugos, 9935 Stephen Decatur Highway, West Ocean City, Md.
  • Marlin Market, 9636 Stephen Decatur Highway, West Ocean City, Md.

Forty-seven other businesses passed the compliance checks, according to the Sheriff's Office.
