Recipe from Joshua Puffer of New Hampshire
2 - 3 cups flour
1 cup canola or vegetable oil
1 cup white wine
1 and 1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp ground black pepper
1 to 1 and 1/2 tbsp fennel or your favorite dry spice
In a mixing bowl mix all ingenious together. Add more flour if needed, you want it to be like bread dough. On a flat floured surface roll out 1 to 2 ounce strips about 5 to 6 inches long. Connect the ends and place on lightly greased pan and bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown on top. Let cool on a cooling rack not on the pan and enjoy!
