



T'nia Falbo (Photto: umeshawks.com)NORFOLK, Va.- University of Maryland Eastern Shore junior stand-out T'nia Falbo (Greensburg, Pa.) doubled up on weekly honors for the second straight week. She earned her second consecutive Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Bowling Athlete of the Week award and was named to the Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll for women's bowling from CollegeSports360.
Falbo knocked down 1,176 pins and averaged a 235.2 at the Prairie View A&M Invitational. Falbo earned All-Tournament Team honors while leading the #6 Lady Hawks to a 9-4 record and second place finish.
The junior recorded 200-plus scores in all five games played including a season and game-high 280 in a win against #1 Valparaiso. Falbo is the first Hawk to earn awards from the CollegeSports360.
Last week she earned their top award as the Primetime Performer. This week, she was named to the honor roll along with bowlers from Vanderbilt, Arkansas State and Nebraska.
Their Primetime Performer awards program "goes beyond simply the raw stats or results, instead taking into account the quality of the opposition, contribution to team success and other situational factors (such as all-around play, leadership, clutch efforts, adversity overcome, etc.)."
