Delaware State Police Investigating Multi Vehicle Crash on DE Rt. 1

TOWNSEND, Del.- The Delaware State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle personal injury crash on southbound DE Rt. 1 south of Blackbird Creek in Townsend.
 
Southbound DE Rt. 1 has been shut down and drivers are being asked to find alternate means of travel.
 
Police said, the investigation into this crash is in its early stages.

They said More detailed information will be released at a later time.

    In a plan approved by the legislature, full-time minimum-wage workers in Maryland will ultimately make about $875 less annually than they would have under the governor's proposed timetable, an economic analyst said. Legislators voted last week to have Maryland's minimum wage reach $10.10 an hour by July 2018, whereas Gov. Martin O'Malley originally wanted it to reach that amount by July 2016.More
