DOVER, Del. (AP)- Two Dover men have been charged with growing marijuana after state police went to a house searching for stolen goods.

Police say 41-year-old Raymond T. Giordano Jr. was suspected of stealing several televisions from his employer, Rent-A-Center, located on the 1600 block of South Governors Street in Dover.

Troopers searched the home, located on the 1500 block of John Clark Drive in Dover, on Saturday and found an alleged marijuana growing operation in the basement. Police said the operation included lights, cehmicals and approximately 1,495 grams of marijuana.

Police said Giordano was renting the home from 49-year-old David J. Prouse, who faces similar charges. Troopers found an additional quantity of marijuana at Prouse's home as well as $3,300 in suspected drug proceeds, according to police.

Giordano also faces charges related to the stolen TVs.

Giordano was released on $9,500 unsecured bail and Prouse was relased on $5,000 unsecured bail.
