DOVER, Del.- A 41-year-old man is facing numerous theft-related charges following accusations that he broke into dozens of vehicles in Dover's downtown area.

Dover police announced Monday the arrested of James Hall, who is listed as homeless. According to police, Hall's arrest stemmed from an investigation that concluded on Jan. 25, when he was found to be in possession of property stolen from a vehicle parked in one of the city's residential neighborhoods.

Police said that following Hall's arrest, officers subsequently began an in-depth investigation into similar type complaints in the downtown area. As a result of that investigation, police said officers were able to link Hall to 56 similar types of complaints stemming back to Nov. 18. The investigation culminated in 133 additional theft-related criminal charges being placed against Hall with a total of 73 victims.

Bond information for Hall was not immediately available.
